Magic Workshops

Adam has run school workshops for the past 30 years to the delight of many students, parents and teachers.

Workshops are available for primary and secondary students. Students make and learn to perform three easy to learn tricks. ALL MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT are supplied and STUDENTS KEEP ALL THE TRICKS THEY MAKE AND LEARN..

Maximum per workshop is 30 students with an assisting staff member. There is no minimum number for workshops.

Workshops usually run for 90 minutes but can be timed to suit your requirements. Each workshop is complete in itself and requires no previous magical knowledge or experience. Seven different workshops are available.

Adam teaches over 20 tricks that are easy to learn but baffling to watch. Here is a sample:

 The Paddle Move

The Paddle Move

One of the simplest of magic tricks that is fun to make, easy to master and stunning to watch. Red spots on the end of the sticks multiply, jump from stick to stick and then disappear.

The Mystery of the Rattling Matchbox

The Mystery of the Rattling Matchbox

A five cent coin is placed in one of three matchboxes. Despite the audience’s best efforts they are totally unable to locate which matchbox contains the coin. For the finale the magician taps the matchbox and the coin drops to the floor – through the matchbox AND THE TABLE !

Two versions – easy and more difficult – are taught in the workshop.

The Cups and Balls

The Cups and Balls

The magician places three balls and three cups on the table. Magically the balls appear beneath different cups.

And for the grand finale…you will have to wait and see!

Workshop Requirements – Tables and chairs. – A standard classroom is ideal.

Magic Shows

45 minutes of stunning tricks,
audience interaction and
hilarious story-telling.

The children get to assist “on stage” with many of the tricks. They also learn the world’s longest magic word (at least they try!)

Shows and workshops can be run on the same day.

Magic Show Requirements

Space for the children to sit and a small performance space. A carpeted area is best if available.

There is no maximum or minimum number for the magic show.
